What to expect

Before
your visit
Get excited, this is the first step for relief! You have to Inform your doctor about medications you’re taking, don’t eat or drink anything after midnight before your procedure (Including water), wear comfy clothes and avoid jewelry and makeup, you’ll also need someone to drive you home after the procedure.

Day of the
procedure
Arrive at the ASC at your scheduled appointment time, our compassionate staff will welcome you, then you’ll receive sedation and local anesthesia; you will remain awake and feel pretty relaxed, the procedure will begin and takes about 1–2 hours.

After your
procedure
Inmediately after, you will stay in recovery for observation (4–6 hours), mild discomfort in the pelvic area is normal; medications will help manage them. When you get home, rest the remainder of the day! And resume eating and drinking as tolerated.

Post-procedure
care at home
Read carefully throughout all the after-procedure instructions provided to you. You can expect to feel better each day, but you may get tired quickly. You may need about 1 to 2 weeks to fully recover. A key part of your treatment recovery and safety is making sure to go to all follow-up scheduled appointments.
